Jared Kushner Makes Unexpected Statement

His focus is on some place else.

Jared Kushner, former senior adviser in the Trump White House and son-in-law of ex-President Donald Trump, announced on Tuesday that he would not rejoin the administration if Trump were to be reelected.

Speaking during a livestreamed interview at Axios’s summit in Miami, Kushner stated, “I’ve been very clear that my desire at this phase of my life is to focus on my firm.” He emphasized enjoying being out of the public eye, especially after the demanding 24/7 responsibilities of working in the White House alongside his wife, Ivanka Trump.

When pressed by Axios business editor Dan Primack about whether this decision was definitive, Kushner affirmed, “Yes.” He expressed confidence in Trump’s current campaign team, suggesting that Trump had ample time for reflection and surrounded himself with capable individuals.

Reflecting on the potential composition of a future Trump administration, Kushner anticipated a “very, very long list of very qualified people” to choose from if Trump were to win in November.

During his tenure in the Trump administration, Kushner played a key role in negotiating the Abraham Accords, which led to the normalization of relations between Israel and the United Arab Emirates and Bahrain.

It’s noteworthy that Trump has a history of involving family members in positions of influence within his administration. Ivanka Trump, Kushner’s wife, served as a White House adviser during her father’s presidency.

In a similar vein, Trump recently endorsed his daughter-in-law Lara Trump for the co-chair position of the Republican National Committee, highlighting the continued influence of family ties in his political sphere.
