He delivered a passionate speech.

At the 2024 Republican National Convention, wrestling legend Hulk Hogan expressed his admiration for former President Donald Trump, calling him his hero. During his energetic speech, Hogan tore off his shirt to reveal a “Make America Great Again” T-shirt, showcasing Trump and his running mate, Sen. J.D. Vance. Hogan drew parallels between the charged atmosphere of the convention and the excitement of his wrestling career, describing the event as a high-stakes match and rallying support for Trump’s leadership.

Hogan highlighted Trump’s resilience, particularly in light of a recent assassination attempt. He criticized the attacks against Trump and emphasized his support by urging the crowd to “Let Trumpamania run wild.” Hogan admitted that he initially avoided political involvement but felt compelled to speak out due to recent national events, asserting that Trump’s presidency would restore America’s greatness.

Reflecting on his long history with Trump, Hogan reminisced about their past interactions, including a notable wrestling match attended by Trump. He praised Trump’s patriotism and ability to endure numerous political challenges. Hogan argued that Trump is uniquely qualified to address current issues facing the nation, including economic and social concerns.

In addition to his political statements, Hogan, known offstage as Terry Bollea, recently made headlines for his religious commitment. He and his wife, Sky Daily Hogan, were baptized at a Florida church, an experience Hogan described as profoundly significant. Despite previous controversies, including a 2015 leaked tape that sparked criticism, Hogan remains vocal about his faith and political beliefs.
