He does not want another term to happen.
During an appearance on NBC News’ “Meet the Press,” South Carolina GOP Senator Lindsey Graham made pointed remarks about President Joe Biden’s leadership, asserting that Biden has had a detrimental impact on global affairs in various aspects.
Graham emphasized concerns over what he perceives as Biden’s mishandling of immigration issues, characterizing the situation as “broken borders,” and expressed a broader sentiment of global instability, suggesting that “the world’s on fire.”
Questioning Biden’s cognitive abilities, Graham advocated for a direct confrontation between Biden and former President Donald Trump, urging them to engage in a debate. He underscored the significance of such a debate, particularly given the gravity of the upcoming election.
According to Graham, discussions with the Trump campaign indicate a readiness on Trump’s part to engage in debates at any time and in any venue, a stance consistent with previous calls from the former president’s campaign.
While the Biden campaign has not categorically rejected the prospect of general election debates, they have yet to firmly commit to Biden participating in debates with Trump.
Biden’s stance on potential debates was further elucidated on Friday as he departed Washington for Philadelphia, where he cited Trump’s behavior as a determining factor in his willingness to engage in debates with the former president.
