Republican Candidate Celebrates After Unprecedented Milestone

He’s making sure people vote for him.

Vivek Ramaswamy, a contender in the GOP presidential race, marked a milestone by hosting events in all 99 counties of Iowa, a strategy referred to as the “Full Grassley” tour, paying homage to Senator Chuck Grassley. Unlike Florida Governor Ron DeSantis, who also visited each county, Ramaswamy accomplished this feat twice, intensifying his efforts in the lead-up to the Jan. 15 caucuses.

During a town hall event, Ramaswamy secured an endorsement from former Representative Steve King, conveyed through a video message. King, despite previous controversies and criticism, expressed his support, emphasizing Ramaswamy’s dedication to defending the Constitution and addressing issues such as eminent domain use for carbon capture pipelines in Iowa.

Ramaswamy, known for his rigorous campaign schedule with up to 10 stops daily in Iowa, faces a challenge despite his tireless efforts. Polls consistently show him with single-digit support among likely Republican caucusgoers, trailing behind prominent figures like Donald Trump, Ron DeSantis, and Nikki Haley.

Despite these numbers, Ramaswamy remains optimistic about his performance, aiming to exceed the anticipated outcome on caucus day. He underlined the importance of surpassing expectations as he continues his campaign journey beyond Iowa, believing that a strong showing, rather than a win, could pave the way forward.

His relentless commitment to engaging with voters and addressing critical issues underscores his determination to challenge the status quo within his party’s nomination race.
