Pelosi Unleashes On Trump In New Book

She has gone off the deep end.

Former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s new memoir, The Art of Power: My Story as America’s First Woman Speaker of the House, offers a revealing look into her turbulent interactions with former President Donald Trump. According to the San Francisco Chronicle, the book provides vivid accounts of their contentious exchanges, including Pelosi’s reflections on their discussions.

In her memoir, Pelosi criticizes Trump sharply, expressing frustration with his perceived lack of intelligence. She recounts a particular phone call where Trump insisted his conversation with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy was flawless. During this call, which came shortly before Pelosi announced an impeachment inquiry into Trump, Pelosi describes calling him “stupid” after he complained about the timing of the announcement, which coincided with his speech at the UN General Assembly.

The book also revisits the dramatic moment in 2020 when Pelosi publicly tore up Trump’s State of the Union address. She explains that her initial intention was to mark pages with lies, but as she read through the speech, she found dishonesty on virtually every page, prompting her to destroy the entire document. Pelosi previously defended this act by stating she was unable to find a single page of truth.

Additionally, Pelosi addresses personal and public challenges in her book, including the distressing media coverage following the violent attack on her husband at their San Francisco home in 2022. She describes the coverage as often inaccurate and deeply hurtful, causing significant emotional strain on her family.
