Clinton Calls Trump Major Threat To World Safety

She’s out of her mind.

The day after an attempted assassination of Donald Trump, Hillary Clinton described the former president as a significant threat to both the United States and the world. In an interview with MSNBC’s Rachel Maddow, Clinton expressed frustration over the media’s handling of Trump’s actions, suggesting that the press has not adequately addressed the risks posed by him.

Clinton criticized the media for its inconsistent coverage, noting that they seem to shift rapidly from one controversy to another without maintaining a steady focus on the inherent dangers of Trump’s behavior. She referenced the late journalist Harry Evans, who advocated for objective journalism by focusing on the subject at hand, arguing that Trump should be the central focus due to his dangerous rhetoric and intentions.

Clinton’s remarks came as she promotes her new memoir, Something Lost, Something Gained, which has been described as a strong warning to American voters. She also pointed out the press’s harsh scrutiny of President Biden following his debate performance against Trump and suggested that Trump relies on public desensitization to his controversies. Clinton emphasized that Americans need to take Trump’s threats seriously, noting his ambitions and the documented plans of his allies to undermine democratic processes.

“We cannot afford to give this dangerous individual another opportunity to harm our country or the world,” Clinton warned.

Her comments followed the second assassination attempt on Trump within two months. On Sunday, 58-year-old Ryan Wesley Routh allegedly aimed an AK-47 at Trump while he was golfing at his West Palm Beach, Florida club. Secret Service agents intervened and shot at Routh after spotting the rifle, leading to his arrest shortly afterward.

Earlier in July, another gunman opened fire at a Trump rally in Pennsylvania, injuring Trump, killing one attendee, and critically wounding two others. The shooter, Thomas Matthew Crooks, was killed by law enforcement. Clinton also mentioned her admiration for Republicans who have publicly opposed Trump’s return to power.
